In October 2013, the Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance appointed Woody Anglade as the Deputy Director to the United States Senate. Previously, Mr. Anglade was employed as a Senior Trial Attorney for the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division – Employment Litigation Section, in which he investigated and litigated Title VII allegations directed against state and local employers.
Prior to working for the United States Department of Justice, Mr. Anglade worked as a Senior Trial Attorney for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he litigated various employment statutes against private employers. Before that, Mr. Anglade worked in private practice and also served as a law clerk to a United States Magistrate Judge. Mr. Anglade’s government service also includes serving as the Chief of Staff to a United States Congressman and as Counsel to the Subcommittee on Employer-Employee Relations in the House of Representatives.
Mr. Anglade received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and his law degree from Rutgers School of Law. He lives in Maryland.
