Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program Manager Terry Wigfall joined the OOC in November 2007 and previously held positions as OSH contractor and OSH Compliance Manager. Ms. Wigfall is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with 25 years of experience managing safety, health and environmental staff and programs.
Prior to joining the OOC Ms. Wigfall was involved in implementing comprehensive accident prevention plans and worksite specific standards for a large city, county and manufacturing facilities. Ms. Wigfall is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and has served in several capacities nationally. Ms. Wigfall received the 2011 ASSE President’s Award for her work founding Blacks In Safety and Engineering (BISE) and was recognized in the ASSE publication "100 Women Making a Difference in the Safety, Health and Environmental Profession."
Ms. Wigfall has a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Midwestern State University in Texas.
